Abstract
The study aimed to identify the impact of increasing government spending on Vision projects and the role this plays in achieving the targeted results for the Ministry of Housing in Riyadh. The study used a descriptive analytical approach to achieve its goals and included a sample of 130 employees from the Ministry of Housing in Riyadh. A questionnaire was utilized as the data collection tool. The findings revealed a statistically significant relationship between increased government expenditure on the Kingdom’s Vision 2023 projects and achieving the targeted results of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 for the Ministry of Housing in Riyadh, where the statistical significance value was less than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. The regression coefficient was 0.825, indicating that increasing government spending on the projects influences achieving the targeted results by 82.5% for the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 at the Ministry of Housing in Riyadh. Considering these results, the study recommends enhancing transparency in managing government spending on housing projects through the publication of periodic reports on progress and challenges faced by the projects. This would ensure accountability of the relevant entities and enhance trust between citizens and the government. It also stresses the need to simplify administrative procedures and effective planning to reduce delays in implementation. Additionally, it is essential to improve coordination between ministries and other government agencies to ensure smooth project execution. Investing in essential infrastructure such as roads, facilities, and public services to support housing projects contributes to comprehensive development and enhances the quality of life for citizens.
