Abstract

The study aimed to explore the impact of the incentive system on job satisfaction among employees of Saudi banks. It used a descriptive analytical approach and included a sample of 144 employees working in banks in Riyadh. Data were collected using questionnaires. The results showed that the determination coefficient (R square) was 0.709 for the independent variable (role of incentives), which means that this variable explains 70.9% of the variance in achieving job satisfaction among bank employees. The study also confirmed the validity of the model for predicting job satisfaction through the role of incentives, given the significant F-value of 0.000. Considering these results, the study recommends the necessity of improving and expanding the material incentive system in banks, such as increasing allowances and annual bonuses, and improving housing and transportation allowances. It also emphasizes the importance of recognizing employee efforts through continuous appreciation and gratitude, in addition to providing training and workshops to develop personal skills. The study stresses the need to update and develop motivational policies to ensure they are comprehensive and meet the needs of employees at all levels and roles within the bank.
