Abstract
The study illustrated the importance of criminal confrontation of human trafficking crimes, which has become the third illegal trade in the world after the weapons and drug trade, in accordance with the regulations to combat human trafficking crimes in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which contributes to shedding light on the reasons for the occurrence of these crimes, their spread and development, and the important foundations for the legislative confrontation of this criminal phenomenon and presenting the measures taken by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to address this crime through a set of substantive and procedural legal provisions to combat crimes Trafficking in persons, in addition to identifying non-legislative methods of confrontation in these countries and the measures they have taken, such as the establishment of national entities that have a tangible role in combating this crime, and at the media and awareness level, such as spreading awareness among societies of the seriousness of this crime, as well as training specialists to combat this crime, and providing support and protection to victims of these crimes. In addition to the UAE’s strategy to develop legislation and laws related to human trafficking issues.
