Abstract
This manuscript examines the potential of Islamic sovereign sukuk financing to enhance financial sustainability. It investigates the theoretical underpinnings of sukuk, exploring how they align with the principles of Islamic finance and their potential to mobilize capital for sustainable development projects. The study analyses the experiences of countries that have issued sovereign sukuk, assessing the impact on public finances, economic growth, and social development. It further delves into the challenges and opportunities associated with sukuk financing, including investor perceptions, regulatory frameworks, and the need for standardized methodologies. The findings of this research contribute to the growing body of knowledge on Islamic finance and its role in promoting sustainable economic development.
