Abstract

This study focuses on exploring the significant application of quality standards
to improve health services in the Eastern General Cluster in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia. This study represents a research area in the field of integrated
healthcare. The study is based on the real challenges facing the health sector in
achieving high levels of quality and patient satisfaction. It seeks to analyze the
relationship between the application of quality standards, the level of
management and education, and the availability of care. The study used a
descriptive analytical approach, employing questionnaires and interviews as the
primary tools to survey data from the archives of employees in the Eastern
Health Cluster (doctors, nurses, administrators, and technicians). The data were
analyzed using the SPSS statistical program, using mathematical analysis,
elastic regressions, and correlation tests. Given the high level of application of
quality standards in the cluster, this positively impacts the improvement of
health services, increased patient satisfaction, the implementation of necessary
measures, and productivity. Several challenges related to skill shortages, weak
culture, and the need for better coordination between departments were also
identified. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most
important of which are: strengthening continuous training programs, spreading
quality technology, and developing efforts to implement what you want in a
more integrated and sustainable manner.
